Surety is searching for a customer support agent. This role will be a key member of the team and participate in all activities supporting the customer from purchase and onboarding to maintenance and technical support. The most important qualifications for this role are technical troubleshooting skills and a strong desire to learn, contribute, and keep customers happy.
Typical activities for this role include:
* Make recommendations and create documentation
* Handle online customer service requests and provide technical support
* Answer sales questions and inquiries
All customer communication is written
The successful candidate will have these key attributes:
* Open-minded and excited to learn on the job
* Affinity for solving technical problems with electronics and internet systems
* Strong technical troubleshooting skills (required)
* Understanding of security alarm, camera, and home automation technologies
* Comfortable communicating in online communities and web forums
* Motivated and reliable with a high say/do ratio
* Fluent in English, especially written (both casual and technical language)

This is a full time job working both Saturday and Sunday (16 hours total) and 24 hours during the week (flexible). Work schedule is based on US Eastern timezone.
