Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time, remote Curriculum Designer to develop engaging, research-based curriculum materials that support students in grades 9-12 as they navigate their postsecondary journey. The ideal candidate will create content that seamlessly integrates with the Willow platform and supports students in discovering their purpose, exploring careers, planning for college/professional programs, and building financial literacy.

Key Responsibilities
Design 50-minute and 25 min lesson plans aligned to Willow's curriculum scope and sequence
Create student-centered activities that provide at least 20 minutes of active work time per class
Develop clear teacher guides with exemplar scripts, student responses, and strategies for addressing misconceptions
Craft materials that leverage the Willow platform for student assessments, interest surveys, career exploration, and program research
Design curriculum accommodations for diverse learners
Create extension activities that challenge high-achieving students
Develop presentation decks and supporting materials for each lesson
Collaborate with the product team to ensure curriculum and platform integration

Needed Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education, Curriculum Design, or related field (Master's preferred)
3+ years experience in curriculum development, preferably in college/career readiness or SEL
3+ years of experience of classroom teaching experience
Strong understanding of SEL, purpose development, and career exploration frameworks
Experience with platform-based curriculum delivery
Exceptional writing and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Knowledge of best practices in postsecondary planning and financial literacy education
Proficiency with leading AI tools (such as Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) for curriculum development and enhancement
Demonstrated ability to leverage AI effectively in educational content creation

Nice to haves
Experience with college counseling or career advising
Familiarity with Individual Career and Academic Plans (ICAPs)
Understanding of project-based learning approaches
Experience creating digital learning content
Advanced skills in AI-assisted curriculum optimization and personalization
