I'm a credit repair business owner currently working with 2 active clients and actively growing. I'm looking for a skilled Credit Repair VA to come in on a gig/per-client basis now, with the clear intention of transitioning to part-time (and eventually full-time) as my client base grows.
I believe in being upfront: this is a small operation right now. But if you're looking for a long-term relationship with an employer who values your work and rewards loyalty as the business scales — this is that opportunity.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
• Pull and review client credit reports from all 3 bureaus (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion)
• Identify negative items: late payments, collections, charge-offs, hard inquiries, and errors
• Draft dispute letters to credit bureaus and creditors
• Track dispute rounds and follow up on responses
• Keep clean notes on each client's case
• Communicate updates clearly so I can relay them to clients
HOW YOU'LL BE PAID (gig structure):
• $20–$30 per client file (initial setup + first dispute round)
• $10–$15 per additional dispute round per client
• Loyalty bonus: once we reach 10 active clients together, we move to a monthly retainer
• Pay is sent weekly via Wise or GCash — no delays, no excuses
• At least 1 year of hands-on credit repair experience (disputing, not just admin)
• You know what FCRA and FDCPA are and how they apply to disputes
• Experience writing dispute and goodwill letters — not just filling templates
• Familiarity with all 3 bureau dispute processes (online, mail, and fax)
• Strong written English
• Organized — you can manage multiple client timelines without dropping the ball
• Trustworthy with sensitive financial information
• Experience with Credit Repair Cloud or DisputeBee is a big plus, not required
Please do NOT send a generic application. Tell me:
1. How many credit repair clients have you worked on?
2. Describe one dispute you handled — what was the negative item, what did you do, and what was the result?
3. What dispute letter types can you write from scratch (not just templates)?
Bonus: attach a sample dispute letter (remove any real client info). Applications without answers to these questions will not be reviewed.
