Creative Virtual Assistant/Video Editor

Part-Time Creative Virtual Assistant/Video Editor (Descript) & Graphic Designer (Canva) – Opportunity to Grow

I’m looking to hire a skilled, detail-oriented Video Editor to support content creation across Instagram, YouTube, and podcast platforms. This role will start part-time, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position over time for the right person.

This is a long-term role for someone who enjoys producing clean, polished content and takes pride in doing things well.

About the Brand

I’m a physiotherapist and educator who runs an evidence-based online education business focused on clarity, credibility, and thoughtful content. The goal is to take complex topics and present them in a way that feels clear, calm, and easy to understand.

Content is shared across Instagram, YouTube, podcasts, email newsletters, and online courses hosted on Kajabi.

Quality and aesthetics matter. I have a sharp eye and high standards for how content looks and feels—not because things need to be perfect, but because thoughtful execution builds trust and creates a better user experience. I’m looking for someone who is naturally detail-oriented, open to feedback, and enjoys refining the small details that elevate content.

Primary Responsibilities (Video Editing – Descript)

- Edit Instagram Reels (voiceover-based and some talking-head videos)
- Turn carousel posts into voiceover reels
- Edit raw long-form podcast video for YouTube using existing branding and assets
- Create 5–10 short-form social media clips per podcast episode using templates

All video editing will be completed inside Descript

Secondary Responsibilities (Graphic Design – Canva)

- Create thumbnails for social media clips and YouTube videos
- Create Instagram carousel posts
- Create simple PDFs (guides, cheatsheets, worksheets) using existing branding

Future Growth of this Position

This role is designed to grow. Over time, the position may expand to include:

- Social media management (captions, scheduling, posting on IG, FB, and YT Shorts)
- Additional administrative tasks to support a transition to a full-time role
- The business is built inside of Kajabi so there are many administrative tasks to be done inside of that platform

Requirements

Please only apply if you:
- Are already proficient in Descript (required)
- Are already proficient in Canva (required)
- Can speak and write clearly and professionally in English
- Are interested in a long-term position

Working knowledge of Kajabi is a strong asset
Experience setting up Facebook Ads is a strong asset
