JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a creative and skilled Virtual Assistant with expertise in creating short-form video content (reels) to drive engagement, grow our audience, and achieve our business goals across multiple brands and events. The ideal candidate will understand how to craft visually compelling, on-trend content that not only grabs attention but also encourages viewers to interact, follow, click, and convert.

Key Responsibilities:

Reel Creation: Develop high-quality, engaging reels for social media (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook) tailored to the following brands:

Ideas Fest: Fun, snappy, and on-trend reels designed to capture the vibrant festival atmosphere, increase profile views, and drive website traffic for ticket sales.

GBEA (Great British Entrepreneur Awards): Create reels that balance professionalism with a touch of fun to generate interest, boost engagement, and encourage registrations.

UKSUA (UK StartUp Awards): Produce dynamic, innovative content that reflects the spirit of startups and drives views, profile visits, and audience interaction.

Other Corporate Awards: Occasionally create reels for more corporate-focused awards to maintain engagement and interest, while aligning with a professional tone

Driving Engagement: Focus on increasing views, comments, shares, and profile visits, with the ultimate goal of converting followers into ticket buyers, registrants, or engaged community members.

Trend Spotting: Stay updated on the latest trends in short-form video content and adapt them to suit our brand aesthetics and goals.

Editing and Revisions: Provide drafts for feedback and ensure the final edits align with our vision and standards.

Software Expertise: Use professional-grade editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or others) to deliver polished content. Share your preferred tools and workflows with us.

Content Strategy: Collaborate with the team to ensure all content supports our broader marketing objectives, including ticket sales, registrations, and brand awareness.

Repurposing Content: Edit existing assets into reels that align with platform best practices and drive results.

Performance Monitoring: Track metrics such as views, engagement rates, and profile clicks to assess performance and provide suggestions for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in creating high-performing reels or short-form video content across multiple brands or audiences.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.

Ability to adapt content styles to suit varying brand personalities—from fun and dynamic to professional yet engaging.
Excellent video editing skills and proficiency in relevant software.

Strong communication skills and responsiveness to feedback for revisions.
Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Bonus Skills:
Experience in graphic design or creating social media assets beyond reels.
Familiarity with entrepreneurship, festivals, startup culture, or awards-focused content.

What We Offer:
Flexibility to work remotely.
Opportunities to shape the content strategy for some of the UK’s most exciting events and awards.
A collaborative and creative team environment.

Our Goal:
We’re not just looking for great content—we’re looking for results.

Your reels should aim to:
Increase views, engagement, and profile visits across all platforms.
Drive website clicks for ticket sales, registrations, and conversions.
Grow our following and position our brands as leaders in their respective spaces.
