Creative Copywriter and Social Media Manger

We are seeking a highly creative and data-driven Creative Copywriter to join our team at Illumeably. The ideal candidate is passionate about YouTube, obsessed with data, and possesses excellent communication skills. As a Creative Copywriter, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our YouTube channel's performance by analyzing video content, developing compelling titles and thumbnail concepts, and collaborating with our thumbnail editor to enhance our existing video library.

Responsibilities:

- Watch and analyze Illumeably YouTube videos to gain a deep understanding of our content, style, and target audience
- Generate creative, click-worthy titles that align with our channel's brand and optimize video discoverability
- Conceptualize and describe engaging thumbnail ideas that complement video content and entice viewers to click
- Create rough thumbnail sketches using a combination of digital hand-drawing and AI-assisted tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to communicate concepts effectively
- Collaborate closely with our assigned thumbnail editor to refine and finalize thumbnail designs
- Conduct audits of our existing video library, identifying opportunities to improve titles and thumbnails
- Propose and test new title-thumbnail combinations to boost video performance and viewer engagement
- Analyze performance data to iterate and optimize title and thumbnail strategies based on insights
- Use our tool to create thumbnail/title tests and communicate findings, ideas, and recommendations clearly to the team

Requirements:

- Proven creativity and a keen eye for visual storytelling
- Strong obsession with data and ability to derive actionable insights from analytics
- Deep passion for YouTube and understanding of platform trends, best practices, and audience behavior
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with digital drawing tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or Paint) and willingness to incorporate AI-assisted technologies (e.g., ChatGPT) into the creative process
- Ability to work collaboratively with a thumbnail editor and adapt to feedback
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with Illumeably's content style and tone (Upgrade to see actual info/c/illumeably) is a plus
- Experience in content creation, graphic design, or video editing is a bonus but not required
