Creative Collaborator for Workbook + Amazon Publishing Support

I’m looking for a thoughtful and detail-oriented creative collaborator to help transform my existing Gratitude Journey into a beautifully designed ebook and workbook experience for both my website and Amazon publishing.

The Gratitude Journey is a free 21-day guided experience currently shared with approximately 700 participants each month through email and WhatsApp. It combines reflective practices, heart-centered awareness, simple daily exercises, and grounded spiritual insight designed to help people move from “trying to be grateful” into living from gratitude more naturally and authentically. We hope this will become a long term relationship with potential future collaboration on additional offerings and books.

Because of the feedback we've received that this is really supporting people and requests from people who have participated, I would like to evolve this material into:

A polished digital workbook/ebook for my website
A print-ready workbook for Amazon KDP
A Kindle-compatible version for Amazon
Potentially additional companion materials over time

This is not a formatting task. I’m looking for someone who can help shape the reader experience in a way that feels calm, beautiful, engaging, and aligned with the heart-centered tone of the work.

I’m looking for someone with experience in:

Ebook and workbook design
Amazon KDP formatting (print + Kindle)
Layout and visual organization
Reader flow and user experience
Adobe InDesign or similar tools
Self-publishing workflows. You will need to provide a checklist of the process and guide me through it because I am new to this.
Optional but appreciated: experience with wellness, mindfulness, spirituality, coaching, or transformational content

The Ideal Person is:

- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Able to create clean, elegant layouts without feeling overly corporate or overly “busy” that complement our website
- Comfortable balancing practical structure with warmth and subtle beauty
- Able to preserve an authentic voice rather than making content sound generic or overly commercial
- Collaborative and communicative

Potential tasks may include:

- Organizing existing written material
- Designing workbook pages and layouts
- Creating a cohesive visual style
- Formatting for PDF digital workbook, Amazon paperback/interior, Kindle ebook
- Advising on Amazon publishing requirements and best practices
- Helping optimize readability and user engagement

To help assess alignment and design style, finalists will be asked to complete a small paid sample project that will include
two sample workbook page layouts, a sample cover concept, a sample interior exercise/reflection page. Copy and an initial vision that you can improve on will be provided.

I’m especially drawn to design that feels spacious, grounded, elegant, heart-centered, and gently evocative rather than overly trendy or heavily commercial.
