Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Proposal Writer and Contract Specialist to craft compelling proposals, manage subcontractor communications, and oversee the bidding process for state and federal contracts. This role is crucial in helping us secure opportunities through platforms like
Key Responsibilities:
Proposal Development:
• Write and assemble proposals in response to state and federal solicitations, ensuring compliance and timely submission.
• Analyze and interpret RFPs, RFQs, and other solicitation documents to understand client requirements.
• Provide well-structured, persuasive proposal samples when requested.
Subcontractor Engagement:
• Communicate with subcontractors to obtain quotes and essential details for proposals.
• Build and maintain relationships with reliable subcontractors and vendors.
• Negotiate pricing and terms to ensure competitive bids.
Project Coordination:
• Schedule and coordinate site visits as required by solicitations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to gather necessary information and approvals.
• Manage multiple projects while adhering to strict deadlines.
Platform Utilization:
• Identify and track relevant opportunities using
• Ensure all proposals comply with state and federal procurement regulations.
Document Management:
• Maintain organized records of proposals, contracts, and subcontractor quotes.
• Update templates and databases to improve efficiency in the proposal process.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience writing proposals for state and federal contracts.
• Familiarity with interpreting solicitation documents (RFPs, RFQs, etc.).
