What You’ll Be Responsible For
As a Content Strategist at Black Atlas Productions, your role is to research, plan, and architect high-performing content that drives real business results. You will conduct deep market and competitor research for each client, analyzing top-performing ads and videos to identify winning patterns in hooks, angles, formats, CTAs, and messaging. Your responsibility is to break down why competitor content is working and translate those insights into strategies that allow us to outperform them.
You will develop clear, actionable content strategies for both organic and paid media, d
You will write performance-focused scripts for short-form videos and ads, turning research into scroll-stopping hooks and compelling messaging that is practical to film and built to convert. You’ll also review content performance regularly, analyzing metrics such as views, engagement, CTR, and conversions to determine what’s working, what isn’t, and what needs to change. Data and graphs should guide your decisions, not opinions.
On a monthly basis, you will create structured client reports clearly outlining what content was posted, what performed well, what underperformed, and what strategic changes will be made moving forward. These reports must clearly communicate value and ensure clients understand exactly what they are paying for.
You will work closely with the Ad Strategist, collaborating on creative direction, sharing insights from organic content to inform paid strategies, and consistently communicating new ideas, angles, and testing opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone with strong experience in content research and strategy who can analyze competitors, reverse-engineer success, and confidently write scripts for video and ads. You must be comfortable reading and interpreting analytics, clearly explaining strategy in simple terms, and staying highly organized and proactive. Experience with short-form content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) is a big plus.
This Role Is NOT
This is not a role focused on just posting content, replying to comments, scheduling social media, or guessing what might work. This role is about thinking, planning, testing, analyzing, and continuously improving content performance.
If you want, I can also:
Compress this into a short marketplace-friendly version
Rewrite it in a more aggressive / higher-standard tone
Turn this into an internal SOP for whoever gets hired
Just tell me.
