## Read this part first
You are the last set of eyes before anything we make goes live. Nothing ships without your sign-off.
We need someone with an eagle eye and an allergy to mistakes. Someone who catches the misspelled guest name, the missing bumper, the off-brand logo, and the typo buried in a description that everyone else scrolled past. If you read a menu and silently correct the errors in your head, you already think the way this role demands.
The McCord List Media Network is a nationally syndicated media operation reaching more than 90 million households across Roku, Amazon Prime, Samsung TV Plus, and Tubi. We produce The McCord List Today plus a growing roster of client shows from a real LED soundstage in Manhattan Beach. We are faith-led, purpose-driven, and obsessed with editorial polish. Every frame, every caption, and every title carries the brand.
This seat is about precision, not volume. The right person treats quality control as a craft.

## What you will own
You are the bridge between raw edits and a published, broadcast-ready library. You watch, you review, you correct, and you protect the brand on every deliverable.
Week to week, you will:
- Watch every full episode and every social clip before it moves forward, start to finish, no skipping
- Give editors clear, specific, and actionable notes so they know exactly what to fix and why
- Write and complete all metadata for U Screen uploads: episode title, guest names, description, short summary, SEO tags, and category, sourced accurately from the Content Sheet
- Quality control every deliverable against our QA standard before approval
- Verify the spelling of every name, title, and credit, every single time
- Move episodes cleanly through the review chain: editor submits, you review and give notes, notes are applied, host reviews, final revisions, approved, posted
- Keep the task sheet and dashboard current with accurate status on every episode
- Flag missing assets, technical issues, or off-brand work immediately to the right person
- Hold the line on brand consistency: colors, logo usage, tone, and formatting across episodes and clips
-----
## What perfect looks like (the QA standard)
You will check every deliverable against this before it earns your approval.
**On every episode:**
- Clean, balanced audio throughout
- Bumpers in place: first, middle, and end
- Correct intro and outro sizzle
- Every name and title spelled correctly
- Nothing distracting or disturbing in the background
- All BTS and stray
- Edit quality that matches the client’s preferred standard
- The correct brand logo, every time
**On every social clip:**
- Accurate, clean captions
- The brand logo present and correct
- The guest or host centered in frame
**On every upload:**
- Consistent file naming: `Episode [#] - Guest Name - Final.mp4`
- Complete and correct metadata in every field

## Perfect spelling is the job
This is not a nice-to-have. Names, titles, captions, descriptions, and SEO tags all pass through you, and they go out to tens of millions of households. A typo on a guest’s name or a misspelled title is not a small miss in this seat. We need someone whose written English is flawless and whose attention to detail never slips, even on the eighth episode of the week.
If your spelling and grammar are not impeccable, this is not your role. If they are, you will be one of the most valuable people on our team.
-----
## The pace
You will see everything we make. That means roughly:
- **8 to 10 episodes per week** combined across The McCord List Today and client shows
- **30 to 35 social clips per episode** reviewed for caption, logo, and framing
- Notes returned to editors fast enough to keep our 24 to 48 hour turnaround on track
Precision at speed is the skill. If that energizes you, we should talk.
-----
## You are a fit if you
- Have a genuinely sharp eye for detail and a zero-tolerance standard for errors
- Write with flawless spelling and grammar
- Can give editors notes that are clear, kind, and specific enough to act on without back-and-forth
- Understand video pacing, audio, branding, and what a polished final cut should feel like
- Are comfortable in U Screen, Google Drive based workflows, and content or metadata sheets
- Manage your own queue, hit deadlines, and communicate proactively when something is off
## Bonus points if you
- Have worked in post-production, broadcast, streaming, or a high-volume content operation
- Know SEO basics for video titles, descriptions, and tags
- Care about purpose-driven, faith-forward content and want your work to mean something
