Virtual Assistant – Content Creator

Position Summary

The Virtual Content Creator is responsible for transforming photos, videos, and project information from the Marvelous Gardens team into engaging, professional marketing content. This person will help showcase our work, educate customers, strengthen our brand, and generate new leads through consistent social media and digital marketing.

This is a remote position.

Primary Responsibilities

Content Creation

- Edit short-form videos (Facebook Reels, Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
- Create before-and-after videos and photo carousels
- Design graphics using Canva or Adobe Express
- Add captions, music, logos, and subtitles to videos
- Organize and maintain a digital media library

Social Media Management

- Create a monthly content calendar
- Write engaging captions for all social media platforms
- Schedule posts on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- Monitor comments and notify management of customer inquiries
- Recommend trending content ideas relevant to the landscape industry

Marketing Support

- Create promotional graphics for seasonal services
- Develop educational lawn care and landscaping content
- Create employee spotlight posts
- Create customer testimonial graphics and videos
- Design hiring graphics and recruitment posts
- Assist with email newsletters and blog content

Content Organization

- Organize photos and videos by customer, project, and service
- Maintain folders for landscape, irrigation, lawn care, tree services, and commercial work
- Select the highest-quality media for future advertising

AI & Research

- Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Canva AI, etc.) to improve captions and content
- Research social media trends within the landscaping industry
- Suggest new content ideas to increase engagement

Weekly Deliverables

- 5–7 Facebook posts
- 3–5 Instagram Reels
- 2–3 TikTok videos
- 5–10 Instagram Stories
- 1 customer spotlight
- 1 employee spotlight
- 1 educational lawn or landscape tip
- 1 promotional graphic
- Monthly content calendar

Skills & Qualifications

- Excellent English communication skills
- Strong video editing experience (CapCut preferred)
- Canva proficiency
- Experience managing Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Ability to meet deadlines consistently
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Experience using AI tools to improve productivity
- Home services or landscaping experience is a plus

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- All scheduled content published on time
- Minimum of 25 quality posts per month
- Minimum of 15 short-form videos per month
- Average turnaround of 48 hours from receiving content to publishing
- Organized digital media library
- Monthly report including engagement, reach, and top-performing content
- Continuous recommendations for improving social media performance
