Can write in a professional, conversational tone
Are comfortable following direction and matching an existing brand voice
Can switch between formats (website, blog, ad copy) without overcomplicating things
Are organized, reliable, and open to feedback
Enjoy turning rough ideas into polished writing
Experience writing for:
Service businesses
Home services

…is a big plus, but not required if you’re a strong writer and quick learner.
Tools You’ll Use
Google Docs
Slack (for communication)
Occasional Loom videos or written outlines for direction
Hours & Compensation
Part-time: 10–20 hours per week
Pay range: $4–$7 USD/hour (based on experience and writing quality)
Opportunity for increased hours and pay as the role grows
How Success Is Measured
Quality and clarity of writing
Ability to follow direction and feedback
Consistency and reliability
Reducing the amount of editing needed over time
Application Instructions (Important)
To apply, please include:
A short introduction about yourself
2–3 writing samples (any format is fine)
A brief answer to this question:
“What’s your process for turning rough notes or ideas into polished content?”
Applications without writing samples will not be considered.
Why This Role Exists
We’re building a company where content:
Educates
Builds trust
Supports sales
Makes complex ideas easier to understand
If you enjoy writing, refining, and improving content — and want steady, long-term work with clear expectations — this role is a great fit.
