Job Title: Construction Operations Manager (Remote) – Odoo Experience Required | Estimating, Scheduling & Project Coordination

Description:
I am hiring a long-term Construction Operations Manager to help run and eventually streamline the day-to-day operations of my growing construction business. This is NOT a simple VA position. I need someone experienced who can think independently, build systems, solve problems, and reduce owner involvement over time.

You will be helping manage customer communication, scheduling, estimates, billing, project tracking, and business operations using Odoo.

Responsibilities:
• Operate Odoo (Community / self-hosted experience preferred)
• Manage schedules, appointments, and project timelines
• Handle customer texts, emails, and some phone communication
• Track leads, estimates, deposits, invoices, and project stages
• Assist with estimating and proposal preparation
• Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and follow-ups
• Help organize documentation, receipts, photos, and job information
• Build SOPs and improve processes
• Create systems that improve efficiency and reduce management bottlenecks
• Help manage projects from inquiry through completion and payment collection

Requirements:
• Previous construction administration, construction management, estimating, project coordination, or related experience REQUIRED
• Previous Odoo experience REQUIRED (please specify modules and version used)
• Strong English communication skills
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Must be proactive and not wait for instructions every few minutes
• Availability overlapping U.S. Central Time preferred

Compensation:
• Starting pay: $3/hour
• Performance bonuses based on successfully closed and managed jobs
• Typical bonuses range from $20–$75+ depending on project size, complexity, and contribution
• Larger projects may receive larger bonuses
• Raises and expanded responsibilities available for long-term tea ---------- mbers who improve operations and contribute to company growth
