Communications Manager
Reports to: VP of Communications
Location: Remote
Time: 9AM-5PM Manila time
Status: Full-time

As our Communications Manager, you’ll play a vital role in managing and responding to communications requests from Donor Relationship Managers (DRMs), ensuring smooth workflow, and crafting compelling narratives that strengthen donor relationships and expand our impact. You’ll also contribute to a wide range of internal initiatives and marketing materials that advance mission and brand.

Core Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Development
Develop marketing content strategies that support the mission and solutions. Collaborate across teams to implement these initiatives, evaluate effectiveness, and optimize results.
Identify value?add content opportunities from coaching conversations, fundraising strategies, and client experiences. Transform key insights into educational resources, including weekly nuggets and stories.
Lead communications projects, including the development of materials from Mountain Top Weekly and other internal initiatives as needed.

Design & Brand Communications
Transform written content into polished presentations, marketing materials, and other visual assets while maintaining brand consistency.

General Communications Support
Support the communication needs across solutions, teams, and special projects as needed.

DRM Service
Communications Support & Project Management
Manage requests and queries from DRMs and DRM Directors, ensuring they are properly logged, prioritized, and addressed in a timely and professional manner.
Act as the communications support for DRMs, helping them translate raw data and updates into clear, donor-ready outputs.
Craft compelling content, including but not limited to case for support, proposals, campaign messaging, impact reports, and fundraising appeals.

Design & Branding
Transform content into clear and visually engaging materials while maintaining client brand consistency and recommending improvements as needed.

Team Development & Process Improvement
Support the VP of Communications in developing policies and guidelines to strengthen communication systems and processes
Support the communications training and development of the DRM Team.

Skills and Qualifications
Ability to interpret high-level project objectives, exercise sound judgment to clarify requirements, and translate direction into actionable solutions.
Creative and story-driven thinker.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to balance clear communication, visual presentation, and practicality.
Service-oriented and empathetic communicator who can manage multiple requests with clarity and patience.
Timely and proactive communicator and executor.
Flexibility to adjust the messaging to end-user-specific interests.
Collaborative mindset with openness to feedback.
Proficiency in Canva is required. Experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Affinity Designer, or similar tools is a plus.
Familiarity with automation tools and workflow organization is a plus (e.g., ClickUp or similar)

Execution Metrics
Responds to 100% of DRM queries/requests within agreed timelines, escalating when needed.
Delivers 100% of assigned tasks as scheduled in the communications calendar, with proactive alerts if delays are expected.
Observes consistent branding across all design deliverables.
Contributes enhancements to brand visuals throughout the year.

Application Requirement:
At least two (2) writing samples demonstrating storytelling, fundraising communications, donor relations, marketing content, newsletters, proposals, or similar work.
At least one (1) design sample showcasing your ability to present content clearly and effectively (e.g., presentation, report, marketing piece, guide, brochure, or similar material).
