Simmer Down Bar & Grill needs to UPDATE our existing indoor equipment plan to add new outdoor cooking equipment and revised seating arrangements for Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) compliance.
What We Currently Have:
Existing DBPR-approved equipment plan for indoor kitchen at 517 25th Street, West Palm Beach, FL 33407
Current indoor kitchen layout and equipment schedule on file with DBPR
What We Need Updated:
1. ADD OUTDOOR EQUIPMENT to existing plan:
Outdoor grill/jerk pit (specifications and placement)
Oil disposal system (used cooking oil storage and disposal)
Outdoor trash receptacles (location and specifications)
Grease trap (new or updated specifications and location)
All outdoor equipment properly positioned and dimensioned
Utility connections for outdoor equipment (gas, electric, water, drainage)
2. UPDATE Indoor Seating Chart: 2 circular 4 seaters and 3 circular 2 seaters with 6 bar stools at counter
Revised seating layout and count
Updated table and counter configurations
Current occupancy calculations
Updated floor plan showing new arrangement
3. UPDATE Counter/Service Area:
Any changes to counter layout
Updated dimensions and flow
Service area modifications
IMPORTANT - This is NOT an hourly job:
We need a fixed price quote for updating the existing plan
Payment upon completion and approval
No hourly billing - quote the entire update project

Specific Outdoor Equipment to Add:
Outdoor Cooking:
Commercial grill/jerk pit (we'll provide specifications or need recommendations)
Gas connections and/or electrical hookups
Proper clearances and fire safety compliance
Waste Management:
Used cooking oil disposal container (specify type, size, location)
Outdoor trash receptacles (number, size, placement per code)
Grease trap (new installation or modification to existing)
Utilities:
Charcoal outdoor grill
Electrical connections None Needed

Ideal Candidate Must Have:
REQUIRED:
Experience updating existing Florida DBPR equipment plans
Knowledge of Florida health code and food service regulations (Chapter 61C-4, FAC)
Portfolio showing DBPR plan updates that were approved
Understanding of outdoor cooking equipment regulations
Experience with grease trap sizing and placement per Florida code
AutoCAD or professional kitchen design software proficiency
HIGHLY PREFERRED:
Experience with outdoor kitchen additions to existing restaurants
Knowledge of Palm Beach County health department requirements
Understanding of oil disposal regulations and equipment
Caribbean/ethnic restaurant experience (jerk pits, outdoor grills)
Must Understand:
How to modify existing DBPR-approved plans properly
Outdoor cooking equipment requirements and codes
Grease trap regulations and sizing for outdoor additions
Oil disposal system requirements
Outdoor waste management regulations
Fire safety and clearance requirements for outdoor grills
Timeline: 1 week from project start to final updated deliverable
