Cold Caller (Real Estate / Vacant Land) — Remote
The Land Pioneer | Hiring 6–10 | Apply:
Heads up: this listing is long on purpose. We need you to read it. There are instructions buried inside that tell us whether you actually did. Skim and you're out.
Who we are:
The Land Pioneer (
Who we're looking for:
We're hiring 6–10 cold callers who already know how to sell. We are NOT going to train you on:
How to handle objections:
How to build rapport in the first 15 seconds
What a motivated seller actually sounds like
Why "just thinking about it" isn't a real objection
If you're early in your sales career and looking for someone to teach you scripts and tonality, this isn't the role. We need experienced callers — people who can pick up a phone, navigate a conversation, keep a stranger on the line, and know within two minutes whether the person on the other end is a real lead, a maybe, or a tire-kicker. You should be able to filter hot from cold without us looking over your shoulder.
Must-haves:
Real estate cold calling experience in the US market. Vacant land experience is a major plus and will likely earn you a higher starting rate.
Neutral or American accent with strong English fluency. You should sound like someone a US homeowner would comfortably talk to for ten minutes without feeling like they're on a "sales call."
A proven track record. We will ask for references and metrics — dials per day, contact rates, qualified leads passed, deals sourced.
Recorded calls we can listen to. Non-negotiable. If you don't have them, don't apply. Redact PII where needed, but we want to hear you in action — wins and tough calls both.
Reliable internet, a quality headset, a quiet workspace, and the ability to overlap with US time zones.
Adaptability. Our process evolves. We test scripts, swap list sources, refine criteria. You should welcome that, not resist it.
What you'll be doing:
Calling property owners from lists we provide
Use our software to look at the property features
Provide range offers to the sellers (After training)
Building rapport quickly, finding motivation, qualifying or disqualifying fast
Passing warm, vetted leads to our acquisitions team
Logging clean notes in our CRM
Hitting daily and weekly KPIs on dials, contacts, and qualified leads
Compensation:
Hourly base
Junior callers (less experience but strong fundamentals): $4/hr
Seasoned callers (verifiable track record, especially in land): higher base — we'll discuss based on what you bring
Acquisition bonus:
For Junior Cold Callers: $75 paid as soon as a deal closes on the acquisitions side from a lead you sourced. This applies during probation and continues after.
For Experienced Cold Callers: $150 paid as soon as a deal closes on the acquisitions side from a lead you sourced. This applies during probation and continues after.
After 90 days (post-probation)
You graduate onto our tier-based back-end comp plan. When a deal you sourced closes full cycle — meaning we've bought it AND sold it on the dispositions side — you get paid out of the sales funds when they hit our account. This is where the real money is for our long-term callers. We're not playing games with comp; when we win, you win.

2–3 recorded cold calls. At least one should be a call where you turned a cold or skeptical prospect into a real conversation. Add a one-line note telling us what to listen for.
A Loom video, 3–5 minutes max, introducing yourself and walking us through (a) what you know about the US real estate industry and (b) what you know — or want to learn — about vacant land specifically. Talk to the camera the way you'd talk to a seller. We're evaluating presence, not just content.

What's the #1 thing you do in the first 20 seconds of a cold call to keep someone on the line?
Tell us about a deal you sourced that you're proud of — what made the seller motivated, and how did you uncover it?
What's a real estate or land-specific term you've used on a call recently, and how did you use it? (We want to hear you actually speak the language.)

What happens next:
We review applications in the order they come in. If your call recordings and Loom land, we'll set up an interview. If that goes well, you're in — and we move fast. We're aiming to onboard all 6–10 hires within the next few weeks.
We're not the right fit for everyone. But if you're a real cold caller who's tired of being underpaid, micromanaged, or handed scripts you didn't help build — we'd love to hear from you.
