JOB OVERVIEW

Job Summary:

We are seeking a technically skilled and detail-oriented Client Technology Specialist (CTS) to support and optimize client IT environments. This remote role is ideal for a task-oriented professional who can assist with documentation, assessing client technical environments, and administrative IT tasks.


Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct technical assessments using company standards

· Manage resulting tickets to address gaps

· Maintain documentation of client environments, ensuring accuracy, naming conventions, and accessibility for support team.

· Maintain and update documentation for newly discovered applications, hardware, and systems.

· Assist with SSL renewals (certificates, app certs, Apple, MDM, Zendesk, etc.).

· Support onboarding and offboarding tasks as assigned.

· Implement basic proactive changes to client IT infrastructures under guidance.

· Assist in gathering technical details for client technology initiatives.


Professional Competencies:

· Technical background with 5+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar role.

· Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while following established procedures and management guidance.

· Strong documentation skills and experience with ITSM or ticketing systems.

· Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, is required.


Technical Skills:

Qualified candidate will have worked with, have knowledge of, or be very familiar with:


· All modern Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Workstation and Server versions.

· Apple hardware, Macs, iPhones, and OSX.

· Networking, TCP\IP and common troubleshooting commands.

· Printers, specifically in a business environment.

· Ability to troubleshoot and support networking hardware including firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless access points.

· Active Directory

· Azure Active Directory

· Anti-Virus\EDR\MDR\XDR

· Google Workspace

· Microsoft 365/Office 365

· VoIP Phone systems

· DNS

· SSL

· Backup and Recovery

· Intune

· Spam Filtering

· Cyber Security



Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience in Managed IT Services or a similar support role.

· Certifications such as A+, Network+, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, Windows Server Certifications, etc.
