Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Client Accounting Manager to provide high level client support and project management, as well as train and manage our bookkeeping team. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with exceptional communication skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and a passion for delivering outstanding client experiences. You’ll thrive under deadlines, support your team, and ensure the highest standards of service for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
1. Team Training & Development:
Mentor, train, and support the bookkeeping team to foster skill development, accountability, and a collaborative culture. Provide regular feedback and training to help tea ---------- mbers reach their full potential and keep up on new bookkeeping best practices.
2. Quality Control & Process Optimization:
Oversee the accuracy and compliance of all client bookkeeping work. Conduct regular quality checks, update and maintain SOPs and best practices, and lead process improvements to enhance efficiency and minimize errors.
3. Client Project Management:
Guide client projects from onboarding to completion by outlining project tasks and milestones for the team to fulfill. Assist bookkeepers with high level entries (and provide training) to keep projects on track. Follow up with clients to obtain documents or other information necessary to keep on track.

Qualifications
- Degree in accounting or a related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written English; must be easily understood by US-based clients
- Strong teamwork and independent work abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google GSuite, especially Excel/Sheets
- Flexible and adaptable to changing guidelines and bookkeeping practices

Experience
- Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience
- At least 2 years of leadership or management experience
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online

Compensation & Benefits
- Training pay: $5/hr for the first ~90 days, pay rate increase based on performance during training
