JOB OVERVIEW

# Full-Time Project Manager for Web Design and SEO Agency

## About Frisco Web Agency

Frisco Web Agency is a growing web design and digital marketing agency based in Frisco, Texas. Our primary service is designing and developing custom websites for service-based businesses. We also manage ongoing Search Engine Optimization campaigns and occasionally take on other digital projects.

We are currently a small team of three:

* Christopher Potter — Owner
* Rocky Diana — Web Developer
* Melissa Saldana — Administrative Support

We are looking for a full-time Project Manager who can take ownership of our client projects, organize our fulfillment process, and keep everything moving forward without requiring constant direction.

## The Main Outcome of This Role

The most important responsibility of this position is simple:

**Make sure every project continues moving forward and is completed on time—or preferably ahead of schedule.**

As the owner, Christopher needs to focus more of his time on marketing, sales, strategy, and growing the company. Right now, managing multiple active projects can pull him away from those responsibilities.

Your role will be to take ownership of the day-to-day management of our fulfillment.

You will need to know:

* Where every project currently stands
* What has already been completed
* What still needs to be completed
* Who is responsible for each task
* What is due next
* What is falling behind
* What information we are waiting on
* What the client needs to know
* What could prevent us from meeting a deadline

We do not want someone who only updates tasks after being told what to do. We need someone who thinks ahead, identifies problems early, communicates clearly, and actively pushes projects toward completion every day.

## Primary Responsibilities

### Manage Website Projects

Most of your work will involve managing custom website design and development projects.

You will be responsible for:

* Setting up and organizing projects in ClickUp
* Reviewing each active project every day
* Creating and assigning tasks
* Confirming that tasks have clear descriptions, deadlines, and owners
* Following up with team members about incomplete or overdue work
* Identifying the next steps before the current steps are completed
* Coordinating design, content, development, revisions, quality assurance, and launch
* Gathering missing information and materials from clients
* Communicating project updates to clients
* Preventing projects from becoming stalled
* Keeping projects on schedule and pushing for early completion
* Escalating problems before they become emergencies

### Manage SEO Campaigns

Website projects will be the primary responsibility, but you will also help manage ongoing SEO campaigns.

This may include:

* Organizing monthly SEO deliverables in ClickUp
* Confirming that assigned SEO work is completed
* Coordinating content, website updates, keyword research, on-page optimization, and reporting
* Tracking recurring monthly responsibilities
* Preparing client updates
* Following up on missing approvals or information
* Making sure monthly deliverables do not get overlooked

You do not need to be an advanced SEO strategist, but you should be willing to learn our process and understand enough to manage the work effectively.

### Communicate With Clients

You will become one of the main points of contact for active client projects.

Communication may take place through:

* Email
* ClickUp
* Google Meet
* Internal team messages

You will be responsible for:

* Providing clear and proactive updates
* Asking clients for missing content, feedback, approvals, or access
* Explaining what is happening next
* Following up when a client has not responded
* Setting realistic expectations
* Keeping communication professional, organized, and easy to understand
* Making sure clients do not have to ask us repeatedly for updates

Clients should feel that their project is organized, actively managed, and moving forward.

### Communicate With the Team

You will communicate with our team throughout the workday, Monday through Friday.

This includes:

* Reviewing progress with team members
* Following up on tasks
* Answering project-related questions
* Clarifying priorities
* Identifying blockers
* Confirming deadlines
* Making sure team members understand what is expected
* Communicating important client feedback
* Helping the team determine what should be worked on next

You must be comfortable holding people accountable respectfully and directly.

### Own and Improve ClickUp

ClickUp is the primary project management system used by Frisco Web Agency.

You will be expected to:

* Keep ClickUp accurate and up to date
* Make sure tasks are assigned correctly
* Maintain deadlines, statuses, dependencies, and priorities
* Ensure task descriptions contain enough information for the work to be completed
* Keep client and internal communication organized
* Improve dashboards, templates, automations, and workflows
* Identify areas where ClickUp is becoming confusing or inefficient
* Recommend and implement improvements
* Make ClickUp a reliable source of truth for the entire company

At any time, we should be able to open ClickUp and quickly understand the status of every project.

### Maintain Company Playbooks

We use the Buy Back Your Time playbook method to document how work should be completed.

You will help:

* Create playbooks for repeatable processes
* Update playbooks when our processes change
* Organize instructions, videos, links, and resources
* Identify missing documentation
* Make sure team members follow the documented process
* Improve processes based on problems that occur during fulfillment

Our goal is to build a company that does not depend on information being stored only in one person’s head.

## What We Are Looking For

The right person for this role is:

* Highly organized
* Proactive
* Dependable
* Detail-oriented
* Comfortable following up with people
* Able to communicate professionally with clients
* Able to manage several projects at the same time
* Calm when priorities change
* Willing to take ownership of outcomes
* Able to think several steps ahead
* Comfortable asking questions when something is unclear
* Able to make decisions without needing constant approval
* Interested in improving systems and processes
* Consistent with communication
* Able to identify potential delays before deadlines are missed

You should naturally notice when something has not been completed and take action without waiting to be reminded.

## This Role Is Not a Good Fit If You:

* Wait for someone to tell you every next step
* Avoid difficult conversations or follow-ups
* Regularly forget details
* Are uncomfortable holding others accountable
* Only update ClickUp when someone reminds you
* Become overwhelmed when managing several projects
* Disappear during your working hours
* Allow unanswered questions to sit unresolved
* Assume that someone else will take responsibility
* Communicate vaguely or leave people uncertain
* Prefer completing isolated tasks instead of owning the overall outcome

## Required Qualifications

* Previous experience in project management, operations, or client coordination
* Experience using ClickUp or a similar project management platform
* Strong written and spoken English
* Strong organizational and time-management skills
* Experience communicating with clients through email and meetings
* Reliable computer and internet connection
* Ability to work independently
* Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects
* Ability to document and improve processes
* Willingness to learn website development and SEO fulfillment processes

Experience working for a web design, marketing, SEO, or digital agency is strongly preferred.

## Working Hours and Availability

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

You must be available for a daily meeting with Christopher at:

**8:00 a.m. Central Time, Monday through Friday**

Because this is a communication-heavy role, you must also be responsive and available during your agreed working hours. Your working schedule will be established so that you have enough overlap with Christopher, the team, and our clients.

This is not a position where you can complete all your work without communicating with the team. Active communication throughout the workweek is an essential part of the job.

## Trial Period and Payment

This position will begin with a 90-day trial period.

During the trial period, we will evaluate:

* Reliability
* Communication
* Organization
* Ownership
* Ability to manage deadlines
* ClickUp management
* Client communication
* Team coordination
* Ability to keep projects moving
* Overall fit with the company

You will be paid every two weeks. You will complete each two-week work period and then receive payment for that completed period.

**Starting compensation: [INSERT MONTHLY SALARY OR HOURLY RATE]**

There is room for increased responsibility, compensation, and long-term growth as Frisco Web Agency grows.

## What Success Looks Like

You will be successful in this role when:

* Christopher no longer has to personally manage every project
* Every project has a clear status, owner, deadline, and next step
* Team members know what they should be working on
* Clients receive proactive communication
* Delays are identified and addressed early
* ClickUp is consistently accurate
* Tasks do not disappear or remain forgotten
* Projects are completed on time or ahead of schedule
* Company processes are documented and continuously improved
* You can clearly explain the status of every active project without confusion or uncertainty

The long-term goal is for you to fully own project fulfillment so Christopher can focus on marketing, sales, leadership, and growing the business.

## How to Apply

Please include the following information in your application:

1. A short introduction about yourself
2. Your previous project management experience
3. Your experience using ClickUp
4. Any experience managing website or SEO projects
5. An example of a project that was falling behind and how you moved it forward
6. Your approach to following up with a team member who repeatedly misses deadlines
7. Your internet speed and computer specifications
8. Confirmation that you can attend a daily meeting at 8:00 a.m. Central Time
9. Your expected monthly salary
10. A short video introduction explaining why you believe you would be a strong fit for this position

At the beginning of your application, include the words:

**“I push projects forward.”**

Applications that do not include this phrase will not be considered.
