Character & Background Artist

We're Golden Kobe Family Entertainment, a growing YouTube channel with 700K+ subscribers. We're launching "Kobe & Moki's Adventures" — an animated series for kids featuring two adorable dog characters.

We need a talented artist to help create the visual world our characters live in!

The Role
As our Character & Background Artist, you'll create the beautiful backgrounds, props, and character poses that make our animated world come alive. This is a full-time position at first, that will most probably scale down to part-time later — busier during asset creation phases, lighter once we have a solid library built up.

What You'll Do:
• Create backgrounds and environments in classic 2D Disney style
• Design props, objects, and scene elements
• Draw character poses and expressions for the asset library
• Develop new characters as needed for episodes
• Maintain visual consistency with established style guides
• Prepare clean, animation-ready artwork files
• Collaborate with the Lead Animator on asset needs

???? What We're Looking For
Required:
• 3+ years of digital illustration experience
• Portfolio showing backgrounds AND character art
• Ability to draw in a warm, classic Disney-inspired style (think Lady and the Tramp!)
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Procreate, Clip Studio Paint, or similar
• Understanding of color theory and appealing palettes for kids
• Ability to create clean, layered files ready for animation
• Good communication skills in English
