# Virtual Sales Representative — Carzi (Car Rental)

**Location:** Remote (supporting Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport operation)
**Type:** Part-time or Full-time
**Hours of operation:** Sunday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM (Arizona time)
**Schedule:** Shifts assigned weekly — flexibility required

Carzi is an independent car rental company operating at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport with a fleet of ~100 vehicles and a partially contactless rental model. Our customers book online, communicate with us by text and phone, and pick up their vehicles without ever standing at a counter. That means our virtual reps ARE the customer experience — fast, sharp, and friendly over text and voice.

## What You’ll Do

- Sell and support rentals via text message and phone — converting inquiries into bookings, handling upsells (vehicle upgrades, insurance, prepaid fuel, add-ons), and resolving customer questions in real time
- Work across multiple systems simultaneously: our rental management software, business texting platform, phone system, and payment/charge automation tools
- Perform risk-based assessments on reservations — reviewing customer and payment details, flagging high-risk bookings, and applying pre-authorization and verification policies to protect the company from fraud and chargebacks
- Process payments, deposits, and payment requests accurately
- Keep reservation records clean, complete, and well-documented
- Communicate clearly and professionally in writing — most of your selling happens over text

## What We’re Looking For

- **Prior car rental experience would be great** — virtual or in-person (counter agent, reservations, sales, or operations)
- Comfortable and effective selling over text and phone — you can build rapport and close without face-to-face contact
- Able to juggle multiple software systems at once without dropping balls (rental management systems, SMS platforms, payment tools — experience with TSD or similar a plus)
- Strong judgment for risk assessment — you can spot a sketchy booking and know when to verify, escalate, or decline
- Excellent written communication — fast, clear, professional texting
- Self-managed and reliable in a remote environment
- Available within our operating hours (Sun–Fri, 6 AM–10 PM AZ time) with flexibility to work varying shifts assigned each week

## Nice to Have

- Sales performance track record (upsell/ancillary penetration metrics)
- Experience with contactless or remote rental operations

- Schedules are set weekly — we need flexibility on which shifts you’re assigned
