Part Time
$900/month
TBD
Jun 24, 2026
**SERIOUS APPLICATIONS ONLY**
About the Role:
I run YouTube gaming channels built around "I AM CAT VR" — chaotic, funny VR gameplay where you play as a cat. I'm scaling content right now and need ONE reliable long-form editor to grow with me long-term. I have footage piling up and ready to go, so I want this filled fast — the right person could be earning within days. This isn't a one-off gig. If you're skilled, fast, and consistent, this becomes steady, dependable income for as long as you want it.
I treat good editors well: on-time payment, clear feedback, and more work as you prove yourself. I'm looking for someone who wants to settle into a long-term working relationship — not someone juggling 10 clients who disappears in a month.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Editing long-form YouTube videos (10–20+ minutes each) — no shorts
- Matching an established editing style closely and consistently
- Delivering on a fast, reliable schedule
Compensation & Workload:
$30 per finished video (starting rate, with room to grow as we build trust)
Near full-time volume available — how much you earn depends on how many videos you can handle while keeping quality high and hitting deadlines. Strong editors can expect consistent, ongoing work every week.
Paid via [PayPal / Wise / your preferred method] on a [weekly / per-video] basi
What I Need From You:
- Proven CapCut skills — this is non-negotiable; show me past work
- 24-hour turnaround — I run a fast production schedule. You must deliver quality edits within 24 hours of receiving footage, consistently
- Style-matching ability — you can study a reference video and replicate its pacing, cuts, captions, sound effects, and energy precisely
- Strong attention to detail and consistency across every single video
- Reliable communication — you reply promptly, ask questions when unsure, and never go silent
- A stable internet connection and a computer that can handle long-form editing without slowing you down
Bonus Points (Not Required):
- Experience editing gaming, VR, or comedy/reaction content
- A sense of comedic timing — knowing when to cut, zoom, or drop a sound effect to land a joke
How to Apply:
I'm reviewing applications as they come in and hiring the first person who's clearly the right fit — so don't wait. To apply, send me a message that includes all of the following:
- Start your message with the word "MEOW" so I know you read this whole posting (applications without it are deleted)
- A link to 1–2 long-form videos you've edited (CapCut preferred) that best show your style and skill
- A short description of your CapCut experience and how long you've been editing
- Confirmation that you can consistently hit 24-hour turnaround times
- Your availability — how many videos per week you could realistically handle
Trial Edit (Paid for Shortlisted Applicants):
Strong applicants will be invited to a quick trial so I can see how you match my style. I'll give you a Google Drive folder containing a fully edited reference video plus the raw footage for it. You'll edit a 3–5 minute segment matching the reference as closely as possible. Here is the raw footage:
I'll judge the trial on:
- Style accuracy — how closely your edit matches the reference
- Turnaround speed — how quickly you complete it
Editors who pass the trial move straight into paid, ongoing work — often within the same week. I'm hiring fast and this spot will close as soon as I find the right person, so send your application today.
