Cabinet Vision Kitchen Designer / Estimator (Remote)

ABOUT US

We are a Canadian renovation company specializing in kitchen remodels. We receive homeowner leads and prepare kitchen layouts, renderings, and detailed estimates before our in-home consultation. Our goal is to present professional, accurate kitchen designs that help homeowners visualize their new space and give our team a clear scope before the project begins.

We are hiring a long-term remote designer who can work directly inside Cabinet Vision to support our design and estimating process.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Create kitchen cabinet layouts using Cabinet Vision based on client measurements and photos
- Convert rough field measurements and reference photos into accurate kitchen layouts
- Adjust cabinet sizes and spacing to meet standard kitchen design rules and best practices
- Generate detailed cabinet lists directly from Cabinet Vision
- Assist with estimating using our cabinet price list
- Export layout drawings and renderings for client proposals
- Prepare design revisions after customer feedback
- Organize completed designs and project files in our CRM system

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

- Must have REAL, hands-on experience using Cabinet Vision software — this is non-negotiable
- Must have designed kitchens or cabinetry layouts professionally before
- Must understand cabinet components including fillers, panels, toe kicks, crown molding, and hardware
- Must be comfortable reading kitchen measurements and interpreting floorplans
- Must speak and write English clearly and professionally

BONUS SKILLS (Nice to Have)

- Experience working inside a cabinet shop or millwork company
- Background in kitchen design or interior design
- Experience with AutoCAD or SketchUp
- Experience preparing quotes or cost estimates

WORKING HOURS

This role starts part-time with the potential to grow into a full-time position as we scale. We are looking for someone who is reliable, communicative, and genuinely skilled in Cabinet Vision — not just familiar with it.

PAY

$5–$12 USD per hour, depending on your Cabinet Vision experience and the quality of your sample work.
