CAD Drafter

The CAD Drafter will prepare detailed shop drawings and technical drawings based on provided project information and markups. The ideal candidate is highly experienced in AutoCAD, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and revise detailed CAD drawings and shop drawings
Interpret architectural and technical drawings
Produce accurate layouts and fabrication drawings
Maintain drawing standards, layers, and file organization
Implement revisions based on project feedback
Coordinate with project managers and tea ---------- mbers

Required Qualifications

Strong experience using AutoCAD
Experience creating shop drawings or production drawings
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong English communication skills
Reliable internet connection and workstation suitable for CAD work

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with fabrication or construction-related drafting
Experience with ACM panels, metal cladding, aluminum window systems, or similar assemblies
Familiarity with North American drafting standards

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview. A practical CAD drafting test will be required following the interview.
