Business Development Manager
Full-Time | Remote | £6 per hour

About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of two growing UK-based logistics companies seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to generate qualified leads, build relationships, and secure appointments for the company directors.

This role will initially support 2–3 logistics businesses operating within the UK logistics sector, including warehousing, third-party logistics (3PL), and courier services. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying potential clients, conducting outreach through multiple channels, and generating high-quality sales opportunities.

This is a key revenue-generating role requiring strong sales skills, confidence in outbound communication, and the ability to consistently create new business opportunities.

Note: This is not a passive lead generation role. We are looking for someone who can actively engage prospects, build relationships, and secure appointments that convert into business opportunities.

Working Hours
9:00am – 5:00pm UK Time (Monday – Friday)
4:00pm – 12:00am Philippines Time

Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
Identify and research potential customers within the UK logistics sector
Generate targeted prospect lists using LinkedIn, online research, and other lead generation tools
Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective clients
Identify decision-makers including Operations Managers, Transport Managers, and Business Owners
Continuously source new opportunities to support business growth

Outbound Sales & Appointment Setting
Conduct cold email outreach to prospective clients
Follow up leads through outbound phone calls
Build rapport and engage prospects in meaningful conversations
Qualify opportunities and identify potential client needs
Book qualified appointments directly into the company directors' calendars
Maintain consistent follow-up activity to maximise conversion rates

CRM & Pipeline Management
Maintain accurate records of all prospect activity within Go High Level CRM
Track outreach, follow-ups, appointments, and pipeline progression
Ensure all lead information is organised and up to date
Provide visibility of sales activity and performance metrics

Client Relationship Building
Participate in WhatsApp groups with clients and internal teams
Maintain professional communication with clients and prospects
Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders
Represent client businesses professionally during all outreach activities

Performance & Reporting
Meet lead generation and appointment-setting targets
Maintain consistent outbound activity levels
Track and report on conversion rates and pipeline performance

Provide regular updates on:
Leads generated
Appointments booked
Opportunities in progress
Challenges or blockers
Client feedback and market insights

Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience in business development, sales, lead generation, or appointment setting
Strong experience conducting cold outreach via email and telephone
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
Confident speaking with business decision-makers
Experience using CRM systems
Strong organisational and time management skills
Self-motivated and capable of working independently
Results-driven with a proactive mindset

Desirable Experience
Previous experience within logistics, transport, warehousing, courier services, or 3PL sectors
Experience using Go High Level CRM
Experience selling B2B services
LinkedIn prospecting experience
