Business Development Executive (BDE)
Full-Time | Remote | £4.50/hour
About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing commercial growth consultancy that partners with ambitious, owner-managed businesses across the UK and internationally.
This is a high-activity, performance-driven business development role focused on generating qualified conversations and booking appointments with senior decision-makers across multiple client campaigns.
This is not a transactional sales role. You will be working across different industries, supporting structured outbound activity and helping build predictable pipeline for a range of established businesses.
This is a hands-on, ownership-driven role where consistency, communication, and execution are critical.
Working Hours
Flexible within UK business hours (Monday to Friday)
9:00am – 5:30pm UK Time (exact shifts to be agreed)
Key Responsibilities
Outbound Business Development
Execute high-volume outbound activity (primarily phone-led)
Run structured multi-channel outreach (phone, LinkedIn,
Engage business owners and senior decision-makers
Create qualified commercial conversations across multiple client campaigns
Appointment Setting
Qualify prospects against defined criteria
Book high-quality, relevant appointments
Ensure meetings are properly positioned and valuable
Manage prospects from first contact through to booked call
Inbound Lead Management
Respond promptly to inbound leads
Follow up warm opportunities consistently
Maintain strong speed-to-lead discipline
Convert inbound interest into booked appointments
CRM & Pipeline Management
Manage multiple client pipelines simultaneously
Accurately record all activity in CRM systems
Track lead status and next actions clearly
Maintain visibility of progress across all campaigns
Campaign Execution & Data Use
Re-engage cold, warm, and historical lead data
Work through existing databases to maximise opportunity
Support optimisation of outbound campaigns
Identify patterns and opportunities in lead data
Client Communication
Communicate professionally with business owners and decision-makers
Respond to queries in a timely and clear manner
Maintain strong commercial awareness in all conversations
Escalate complex or sensitive issues where needed
Performance & Reporting
Provide regular updates on activity and outcomes
Track:
Conversations booked
Appointments set
Pipeline progress
Follow-ups required
Maintain consistent activity levels and accountability
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience in a BDE / SDR / appointment setting role
Strong background in high-volume outbound calling
Experience managing CRM systems and pipelines
Confident speaking with senior decision-makers
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely
