Business Development Associate (Healthcare / Medical Education)
Join a physician-founded digital platform advancing surgical education, used by 30,000+ surgeons globally. We are expanding institutional and professional adoption across academic, healthcare, and industry organizations and are seeking a Business Development Associate to support this growth.
This role focuses on execution and pipeline development, working closely with leadership who lead strategic conversations and partnerships. It is not an administrative or virtual assistant position.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Identification & Research – Identify and research relevant institutions, professional organizations, pharmaceutical and medical device companies, and individual healthcare professionals (e.g., physicians, educators, program leaders) to support platfor
Structured Outreach – Execute targeted outreach campaigns via
Pipeline Development – Qualify and organize leads to support structured membership expansion efforts.
CRM Management – Maintain accurate records of outreach, engagement activity, and pipeline status using CRM tools.
Market & Institutional Research – Analyze institutional structures, identify decision-makers, and support outreach strategy with relevant insights.
Collaboration with Leadership – Work closely with internal stakeholders to refine messaging and improve outreach effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
Experience in business development, lead generation, institutional outreach, or similar growth-focused roles.
Familiarity with healthcare, medical education, academic institutions, or digital education platforms strongly preferred.
Ability to independently research organizations and identify relevant contacts and stakeholders.
Experience using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) to track outreach and engagement.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in a professional setting.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a structured, metrics-driven environment.
