Business Development Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Business Development Assistant with experience in the fintech, payments, or internet finance industry to support our expanding payment business operations in the Philippines.

The role will assist management in business coordination, partner communication, merchant onboarding, payment channel operations, and cross-functional project follow-up related to payment acquiring and fintech services.

Candidates with experience in payment companies, e-wallets, PSPs, merchant acquiring, banking partnerships, or fintech operations are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in coordinating with payment partners, banks, PSPs, merchants, and external business stakeholders
Support onboarding and communication with payment channels and business partners
Follow up on integration progress, operational issues, settlement matters, and project timelines
Assist management in preparing business documents, reports, presentations, and meeting summaries
Coordinate internally with compliance, operations, finance, product, and technical teams
Support merchant onboarding and operational processes
Track partnership status, transaction issues, and operational performance
Conduct market and competitor research no hi related to fintech and digital payments
Assist in organizing meetings, business visits, and partner communications
Perform other business support and operational tasks assigned by management

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or above
1–3 years of experience in fintech, payments, banking, e-wallet, merchant acquiring, or internet finance industries
Familiarity with payment products, QR payments, e-wallets, merchant acquiring, or payout/payin operations is preferred
Good communication and coordination skills
Strong sense of responsibility and ability to manage multiple tasks
Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
English communication skills required; Chinese language ability is a plus
Experience working with cross-functional teams is preferred
