Business Analyst
Location: Remote + 2x/month onsite in Makati | Industry: Fintech

We are looking for an independent, highly analytical BA with strong Agile experience who thrives in a cross-functional environment and owns the quality of their work from start to finish.

Work Setup: Primarily remote with 2x per month required onsite at our Makati office (permanent arrangement).

What You’ll Do:
Lead the gathering, documentation, and analysis of business requirements.
Write clear, concise user stories following Agile best practices.
Manage JIRA tickets for user stories, tasks, and bugs, ensuring traceability and prioritization.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure business needs are accurately captured and translated into functional solutions.
Develop and maintain business process flows and UML diagrams.
Work closely with product managers, developers, testers, and business stakeholders to align project execution with business goals.
Support solution implementation throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute ideas to optimize workflows.
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

What You Bring:
5–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Agile environments.
Strong proficiency in JIRA and Confluence for project management and documentation.
Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Proven skills in requirement elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
Ability to ask critical questions, challenge assumptions, and propose better solutions.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Experience with UML diagramming tools (e.g., Microsoft Visio, ---------- ).
Strong initiative to understand system functionality and technical dependencies.
Clear and effective communicator, able to bridge technical and business language.
High attention to detail with strong time management and multitasking skills.

Nice-to-Have:
Experience in investment banking, finance, or trading platforms.
Familiarity with bonds or fixed income products.
