Buildxact Estimator / Virtual Assistant - Once off Project Only

We are a growing residential renovation construction company based in Melbourne looking for an experienced and highly detail-oriented Buildxact Virtual Assistant / Estimator to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in residential renovation estimating using Buildxact and a solid understanding of the Australian residential construction industry, particularly renovation and extension projects in Melbourne.

Main Role & Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain professional estimating templates within Buildxact for residential renovation projects, including:

* Internal renovations
* Ground floor extensions
* Second storey additions
* Bathroom and kitchen renovations
* Full home renovations

You will be responsible for:

* Creating detailed Buildxact estimate templates
* Setting up trade categories, cost codes, labour, materials and allowances
* Structuring templates for efficient quoting and repeatable workflows


Buildxact estimate templates are a core part of improving estimating speed, accuracy and consistency for residential builders.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must:

* Have proven experience using Buildxact
* Have their own active Buildxact subscription
* Understand Australian residential construction methods and terminology
* Be familiar with Melbourne residential renovation construction practices
* Have knowledge of Australian Standards and NCC requirements
* Be experienced in estimating for renovations and extensions
* Have strong attention to detail
* Be highly organised and proactive
* Have excellent written English communication skills

Preferred Experience

Highly regarded if you have experience with:

* Australian supplier pricing
* Residential takeoffs
* Scope writing
* Variation pricing
* Trade sequencing
* Buildxact recipes and templates
* Working with Australian builders remotely
