Role Overview:
This role is perfect for a creative professional who knows how to use the full functionality of Squarespace and has an eye for visual storytelling, layout hierarchy, and custom graphic design. You’ll collaborate with our team to elevate existing websites or build new ones from scratch, incorporating both functionality and brand aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and edit Squarespace websites using advanced customization (not just plug-and-play templates)

Create and implement custom graphics, branded elements, and visual assets to elevate design

Customize CSS and style settings to create unique layouts, hover effects, and responsive elements

Optimize site structure, navigation, and mobile responsiveness

Collaborate with our team on landing pages, sales pages, portfolio sites, and blogs

Ensure cohesive brand presentation across pages using a creative but strategic lens

Provide recommendations for user experience improvements and basic SEO best practices

You’re a Great Fit If You:

Have expert-level experience with Squarespace (not just basic editing—true customization)

Have strong graphic design skills and work comfortably in Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite

Can confidently write and edit custom CSS within Squarespace

Understand modern web design trends, layout theory, and brand consistency

Have a strong portfolio showcasing websites you’ve designed/customized beyond templates

Are self-motivated, deadline-driven, and collaborative

Can troubleshoot issues and implement design requests efficiently

Bonus Points If You:

Have experience with site migration or integrating third-party tools with Squarespace

Understand basic SEO, analytics, and performance optimization

Can assist with copy layout and content formatting
