I'm a Nashville-based video producer looking for a skilled graphic designer to build a long-term working relationship with. I run a conference video and photography company, and I need a go-to designer for brand and visual design work as it comes up.
This is not a high-volume role. Project frequency varies — some months may have multiple small pieces, others may be quiet. This works best for someone who appreciates flexible, ongoing work rather than guaranteed weekly hours. I'm looking for someone I can send projects to consistently over time, not a one-off hire. The first few projects will be smaller pieces so we can establish a working rhythm before I send larger work.
What You'll Be Working On
Ongoing work will include:
Branded slide deck templates (blank decks I can reuse across client presentations)
One-sheet and PDF design (client-facing marketing materials)
Document formatting — Google Docs and similar, styled to look polished and professional
Website section mockups in Figma before I build them in Wix
Occasional brand asset creation as needed
This is static graphic design. No motion graphics or animation needed.
Requirements
Strong, fluent written and spoken English
Several years of professional graphic design experience (not entry-level)
Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
Strong design fundamentals: typography, layout, composition, and visual hierarchy
Experience creating brand materials — decks, one-sheets, PDFs, or similar
Reliable communicator who flags problems early
High-speed, reliable internet connection
Nice to Have
Figma proficiency for website section mockups
Experience building in Wix. My sites are built on Wix, and someone who can implement their own designs there would be a significant plus, though not required
Experience with corporate or conference brand work
Clean, minimal, premium design sensibility
How We'll Work
Communication via WhatsApp and
File and asset handoff via Dropbox or Google Drive
Payment via Wise, per project, paid promptly on delivery
I'll provide brand references, existing materials, and clear direction
You'll deliver polished, near-final work; I'll handle final implementation
To Apply
Please include all five items below. Applications missing any of these won't be reviewed.
1. Portfolio link. Share examples of static graphic design work — brand materials, decks, one-sheets, layouts, or similar. I want to see how you handle typography and layout. If your portfolio is primarily motion graphics, social media content, or video work, this role is not the right fit.
If you have your own website or portfolio site, include that link too. How you present your own work tells me a lot.
Links must be publicly viewable. Behance, your portfolio site, or similar. Google Drive links that require permission requests won't be reviewed.
2. Speed test. Screenshot from speedtest.net showing your current download and upload speeds.
3. Brief note. A few sentences about your design experience and the kinds of projects you most enjoy.
4. Rate. Your typical per-project rate for a single-page one-sheet designed from scratch, and for a 10-slide branded deck template.
5. Computer setup. Briefly share your current computer: make, model, year, RAM, and primary storage type (SSD or HDD). Just want to confirm your system runs Adobe Creative Suite smoothly.
I read every application personally and will respond to candidates I'd like to talk further with.
