We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our growing team at ThoroughWorks . You’ll play a key role in helping us stay financially sharp as we expand globally across the Thoroughbred industry.
What you’ll do:
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using Xero, ensuring compliance with Australian tax requirements
Handle multi-currency invoicing, payments, and reconciliations
Analyse past financial data to assist with cash flow and sales forecasting
Provide insights that help us make better business decisions
Assist with general admin tasks as needed – your role can grow with us
Optionally support with HubSpot (bonus, not essential)
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in bookkeeping and working knowledge of Xero
Understanding of Australian tax regulations
Comfortable managing transactions in multiple currencies
Strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently
Someone who enjoys contributing ideas, improving processes, and being part of a collaborative team
Time commitment:
2–5 hours per day to start, with the potential for a more permanent role as we grow.
