Freshly Local is a premium fruit & vegetable box delivery service based in Melbourne’s northern suburbs. We deliver fresh, hand?selected produce directly from our family?run shop to customers’ homes. We are expanding and need a reliable, proactive Filipino assistant who can manage backend operations and support our digital marketing and advertising.

This is a long?term role for someone who is organised, creative, and excited to grow with the business.

This is a hybrid role combining:

Shopify backend operations

Customer service

Admin

Digital marketing

Instagram & Facebook ads

AI?assisted workflows

Automation setup

Content support

You will help keep the business running smoothly and help grow our online presence.

???? Daily Responsibilities
Monitor Shopify orders

Confirm payments & update order statuses

Respond to customer messages (email + chat)

Prepare daily delivery lists

Update stock availability

Upload weekly box contents

Maintain clean backend data

???? Weekly Responsibilities
Update weekly fruit & veg box contents

Upload product photos (Canva)

Run weekly sales & customer issue reports

Check website for errors or updates

Send abandoned cart follow?ups

Assist with promotions

Maintain customer database

???? Digital Marketing Responsibilities (Full Ads Management)
You will manage and support our online marketing, including:

Instagram & Facebook
Create simple content using Canva

Schedule posts

Maintain brand consistency

Engage with customers (comments/messages)

Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram Ads)
Set up campaigns

Manage targeting & audiences

Optimise ads for performance

Monitor daily ad spend

Report weekly results

Suggest improvements

Use AI tools to generate ad copy & ideas

AI & Automation
Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Canva AI, Meta automation)

Help build simple workflows

Assist with automating repetitive tasks

Suggest new tools or improvements

???? Required Skills & Experience
Shopify (must be confident in backend)

Canva (editing + content creation)

Meta Ads Manager (campaign setup + optimisation)

Excellent English (written + customer service)

Strong admin skills

Experience with e?commerce or VA roles

Comfortable using AI tools

Ability to follow systems and workflows

Fast learner with strong attention to detail
