Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and creative Avada Theme WordPress - Web Designer / Developer to join our team at Windpixel. The ideal candidate will have robust experience in WordPress development and design, particularly with the Avada Theme. You will be responsible for building and maintaining visually compelling, responsive, and user-friendly websites that drive our clients’ digital success.

Key Responsibilities:

Avada Customisation & Development:

Customise and extend the Avada WordPress Theme to align with project requirements and client branding.

Develop custom child themes and plugins to enhance functionality and meet specific client needs.

Design & User Experience:

Create visually appealing website designs that prioritise a seamless user experience.

Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure design consistency and brand alignment across projects.

Front-End Development:

Translate design wireframes and prototypes into clean, efficient HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP code.

Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimise site performance for a smooth user experience.

Maintain good design skills and practices.

Back-End Integration:

Manage and integrate WordPress plugins and third-party APIs as needed.

Optimise website architecture for improved loading speed, scalability, and SEO.

Maintenance & Support:

Provide ongoing support and regular maintenance for existing websites.

Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and security vulnerabilities promptly.

Collaboration & Project Management:

Work closely with project managers, designers, and digital marketing experts to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Maintain thorough documentation for theme customisations, code changes, and system architecture.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience with WordPress development and working with the Avada Theme.

Strong command of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.

Demonstrated experience in creating responsive, user-friendly designs.

Ability to create custom child themes and integrate a variety of plugins effectively.

Familiarity with website optimisation techniques, SEO best practices, and web performance tuning.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Strong communication and English language skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries.

Understanding of UX/UI principles and graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).

Experience with website analytics and user behaviour tracking tools.
