Technical Trading Specialist / Strategy Lead (Part-Time – Long-Term Opportunity)

We are a growing UK trading education and strategy business looking for an experienced Technical Trading Specialist / Strategy Lead to help support our community, improve trading systems and contribute to future product development.

This is NOT a pure developer role.

We already have builders and developers.

We are looking for someone who combines strong trading knowledge, strategy thinking, technical understanding and confident communication.

Responsibilities:

• Build, improve and optimise trading strategies
• Test robustness across different market conditions
• Create new trading ideas and system concepts
• Help troubleshoot technical issues (TradingView, MT4/MT5, automation, strategy workflows)
• Support traders with setup questions and problem solving
• Act as a senior technical escalation point
• Help create additional value for our trading community (tools, systems, walkthroughs, resources)

Ideal Experience:

• Forex / indices / gold / prop firm trading experience
• Strategy development & optimisation experience
• TradingView / Pine Script knowledge
• MT4 / MT5 / EA / automation familiarity
• Python / AI / automation systems (advantage but not essential)
• Experience explaining trading concepts clearly

Hours / Structure:

• Part-time initially
• UK overlap preferred
• Flexible structure for the right candidate
