AutoCAD Drafter Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled AutoCAD Drafter to join our team. The AutoCAD Drafter will be responsible for preparing technical drawings, layouts, and plans based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, or project managers. The ideal candidate should have strong drafting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Prepare detailed 3D drawings using AutoCAD.
Revise and update drawings based on project requirements and feedback.
Review technical documents, specifications, and design instructions to ensure accuracy.
Coordinate with engineers, architects, designers, and project teams.
Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project files.
Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and applicable regulations.
Assist with project planning and documentation as needed.
Perform site measurements and field verification when required.

Qualifications
Associate degree or certification in drafting, engineering technology, architecture, or related field preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting/design software.
Strong understanding of technical drawings, dimensions, and construction/design standards.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills
Experience with 3D modeling software.
Knowledge of construction, manufacturing, or engineering processes.
Familiarity with building codes and industry standards.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
