About the Role
We’re looking for a creative, organized, and proactive Author Virtual Assistant to support a growing self-publishing author brand. This is a flexible part-time remote position requiring approximately 1–2 hours per day, making it ideal for someone looking for consistent ongoing work alongside other clients or projects.
This role focuses on supporting book launches, newsletter marketing, reader engagement, promotional coordination, and social media content for an expanding author business.
You’ll assist with newsletter creation, ARC campaigns, book promotions, reader engagement, and general marketing support while helping build and grow a loyal reader community across multiple platforms.
We’re looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, communicative, and excited about the publishing and book marketing space. Experience with author promotions, reader engagement, or self-publishing tools is a strong plus.
Newsletter: 5-6 a week (Mailer Lite)
Creating newsletter templates in MailerLite
Preparing workflows for ongoing promotional support
Book swaps management:
