About the Role

As an Audit Associate, you will support U.S.-based churches and nonprofit organizations by assisting in audits, reviews, and compilations. You will work closely with U.S. CPAs and senior tea ---------- mbers to deliver high-quality financial reporting and ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards.

This is a full-time, long-term remote position for candidates based in the Philippines who are willing to work U.S. business hours (night shift). Flexibility is available but must overlap with US Central Time Zone 4-5 hours per day.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in audits, reviews, and compilations for nonprofit and church clients
• Prepare working papers, audit schedules, and supporting documentation
• Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate with senior auditors and managers on engagements
• Communicate professionally with U.S.-based clients via email, chat, and video calls
• Apply knowledge of U.S. GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards (FASB)
• Assist in preparing audit reports and client deliverables
• Continuously improve technical and professional skills through training and mentorship

Qualifications

Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in auditing or accounting
• Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Good written and spoken English communication skills
• Willingness to work night shift (aligned with U.S. time zones)
• Reliable and professional in a remote work environment

Preferred
• CPA (Philippines or U.S.), or currently pursuing licensure
• Experience with nonprofit or church accounting
• Experience working with U.S. clients or CPA firms
• Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software

• Processor: Intel i5 (8th gen or higher) or AMD Ryzen 5 (or equivalent)
• RAM: Minimum 16 GB
• Operating System: Windows 11 or Mac (compatible with required tools)
• Internet: Minimum 20 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload
• Backup internet connection required
• Three monitors
• Noise-canceling headset and HD webcam
• Quiet, professional workspace
