Audiobook Producer for Non-Fiction Wellness Book

Project Overview
We are seeking an experienced audiobook producer to transform a self-published non-fiction book into an engaging, high-quality audiobook. The book focuses on resilience, well-being, and prioritizing wellness. While we would prefer to use the author’s voice for narration, we are open to exploring AI voice simulation as an alternative to streamline the process and maintain authenticity.

Responsibilities
Provide guidance on recording the audiobook using the author’s voice if direct recording is required.
Explore and implement AI voice simulation options to create a natural and authentic audiobook narration that replicates the author’s voice.
Edit and master audio (whether recorded or AI-generated) to meet industry standards for clarity, quality, and engagement.
Format the audiobook to meet platform requirements (e.g., Audible/ACX, Apple Books).
Handle chapter breakdowns, intros/outros, and ensure compliance with distribution guidelines.

Qualifications
Proven experience in audiobook production, including work with author-narrated or AI-generated voice projects.
Expertise in audio editing, mastering, and quality control.
Familiarity with AI voice simulation tools and platforms (e.g., ElevenLabs, Descript).
Knowledge of Audible/ACX or other audiobook distribution standards.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the author throughout the project.

Preferred Skills
Experience with AI voice cloning tools to create a realistic and engaging simulation of the author’s voice.
Background in wellness or health topics for a better understanding of the book’s content.
