Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Audio & Video Editor to help produce commentary-based YouTube videos using third-party TikTok content combined with my personal audio. The role focuses on audio-first YouTube videos with B-roll/photos, TikTok sourcing, copyright-safe editing, and uploading content.

This starts as part-time and may grow into full-time after monetization.


Key Responsibilities

Splice and edit audio using Audacity (or similar) from multiple sources into one smooth, professional track

Deliver broadcast-quality audio (noise removal, EQ, bass/treble balancing, click/hum removal)

Add non-copyright background music that does not distract from commentary

Edit TikTok videos and combine them with my personal commentary into one fluid, transformative video

Source non-viral but high-value TikTok videos relevant to the topic

Remove TikTok watermarks and original music when required

Edit TikTok videos to avoid copyright claims on YouTube

Understand and apply fair use (transformation, commentary, education)

Add CC0 B-roll/photos throughout videos when needed

Upload videos to YouTube and manage basic channel requirements

Edit or rework videos if YouTube copyright claims arise

Cut long-form videos into Shorts (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok)

Review and correct subtitles/captions

Create thumbnails using CC0 images

Understand copyright rules and proper attribution

Create or manage AI channel influencer/AI voice usage when required


Required Skills

Strong understanding of YouTube and TikTok platforms

Experience sourcing and editing TikTok content

Knowledge of copyright-safe editing practices

Proficient English (spoken and written)

Strong communication and professionalism

Ability to work independently with provided timestamps and instructions


Position Details

Pay: 150 PHP/hour

Type: Part-time (growth to full-time after monetization)

No long-term contract until monetization

Growth-based role with increasing responsibility

Work From Home – This is a fully remote position

Flexible Schedule – You may choose your own working hours

Results-Based Role – As long as work is completed on time, meets quality standards, and adds high value, the schedule is flexible

Independent Workflow – You will manage day-to-day editing tasks with minimal micromanagement while maintaining clear communication
