Assistant Fashion Designer and Coordinator

Position Overview:

We're seeking a highly skilled Assistant Designer and Coordinator to join our team in a full-time remote position. This role will be instrumental in managing design timelines, creating tech packs, and coordinating design-related projects, with proficiency in Adobe Illustrator for tasks like packaging design and presentation decks.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage design timelines to ensure timely delivery of projects, aligning with production schedules and seasonal drop dates.
Create and standardize design tech packs with technical patterns for effective use in manufacturing.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create captivating marketing collateral and design proposal slides.
Manage design-related projects and marketing collateral needs, ensuring seamless coordination and successful outcomes.
Develop mood boards and innovative design concepts in collaboration with the team.
Work closely with the production manager and manufacturing sample maker to create samples and ensure adherence to design specifications.
Establish and maintain standard materials and design processes to optimize efficiency and quality.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field.
Proven experience in fashion design with expertise in creating technical patterns and design tech packs.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop, for tasks like packaging design and presentation decks.
Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
Keen eye for aesthetics and a passion for high-end design.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative design concepts.
Portfolio showcasing fashion design skills and technical design work.
Additional Information:

This is a full-time remote position, requiring availability during Central Standard US Hours from Monday to Friday, 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm CST, with a 1-hour lunch break.
