JOB OVERVIEW

Hi there!

I run a growing e-commerce business where around 90% of revenue and day-to-day operations are Amazon-focused. I also sell on eBay and via our own brand website, but Amazon is the core engine.

I’m hiring a Amazon Graphic / Packaging Designer who wants to work directly with me as the founder in a long-term role and take ownership of our Amazon visual assets that drive CTR and conversion.

If you enjoy clean design, structured workflows, and improving performance through data, please read on.

ABOUT THE BUSINESS
I’m a Dutch founder from Amsterdam and have been building and scaling brands in e-commerce for multiple years. The business is strongly brand-driven and focused on building and defending clear brands in defined niches, not a scattered portfolio of generic products.

Amazon is the main channel (roughly 90%), so the majority of your work will be focused on Amazon listing images and A+ content. We also sell on eBay and via our own brand website, so there will occasionally be supporting design work for those channels too.

My goal as founder is to stay focused on:
- Product and brand development
- Company structure
- Scaling strategy

Your goal is to help me protect that focus by owning our design execution and creative iteration loop.

ABOUT THE ROLE
I’m looking for someone who can consistently create high-quality Amazon visuals and improve them based on performance data.

You will work directly with me and my PPC expert. I will provide context, brand direction, priorities, and product information. You will be responsible for producing assets, keeping files organized, iterating based on feedback and data, and making sure we always have strong creative live on Amazon.

The goal of this role is simple: Create and improve Amazon visuals that increase CTR and conversion, without me having to micromanage the process.

RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Amazon listing images (core responsibility)
- Create and improve main images, secondary images, infographics, and lifestyle images
- Strong focus on clarity, compliance, and scroll-stopping CTR impact
- Ensure consistent branding across all ASINs and variations
- Maintain clean working files and export final assets in the right specs

2) A+ Content and brand assets (Amazon)
- Create A+ content modules
- Create storefront graphics, brand story assets (when needed)
- Work from a structured brief and improve layouts over time

3) Data-driven creative iteration (CRO/CTR focused)
- Use performance data to guide creative decisions (CTR, CVR, session data, conversion changes)
- Propose test ideas (new main image angles, new infographic hierarchy, new hooks)
- Track changes you made and the hypothesis behind them so we can learn over time

4) Occasional packaging and print assets
- Create or update packaging layouts when needed (labels, boxes, inserts, manuals)
- Ensure print-ready files are correct (dimensions, bleed, dielines if provided, export settings)
- Keep packaging consistent with brand guidelines and compliant with marketplace requirements
- Coordinate with me and suppliers on revisions and final print files

5) AI-assisted image generation workflows
- Use modern AI tools to support and speed up creative production (Nano Banana and similar tools)
- Create variations efficiently while keeping results realistic, brand-appropriate, and high quality
- Know how to blend AI output with strong manual design judgment (not “AI spam”)

6) Optional: video creation
- If you have the skill, create full product videos (Amazon listing videos and/or short-form content)
- This is not required, but a strong plus if you can do it well

TOOLS AND WORKFLOW
- Adobe (Photoshop/Illustrator) and/or Figma (depending on your workflow)
- Canva is fine for some assets, but you must be able to produce high-quality, professional outputs
- OneDrive / Google Sheets for asset tracking and briefs
- Notion for SOPs, notes, and documentation
- Microsoft Teams for communication and a weekly sync

REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience creating Amazon listing images and A+ content
- Strong eye for layout, hierarchy, and conversion-focused design
- You understand Amazon image compliance and how to balance rules with performance
- You can work from briefs and still think proactively
- You are highly organized (clean files, clean naming, clean versioning)
- Strong written English and clear communication
- Experience with AI image generation tools and workflows is a big plus
- Experience with video editing is a plus (not required)

PERSONALITY FIT
This role fits someone who is:
- Structured and methodical
- Calm and consistent
- Proactive with a strong sense of ownership
- Not a “talker” but a “doer”
- You enjoy building repeatable creative systems and improving assets based on results

HOURS AND ENGAGEMENT
- Part-time: up to 5 hours per week
- Async-friendly and outcome-focused (results matter more than online time)
- Weekly sync with me via Microsoft Teams
- Long-term collaboration preferred
- Some overlap with Europe time is helpful (I’m in the Netherlands)

COMPENSATION AND GROWTH
Hourly paid, $5 to $10 USD per hour, depending on experience and fit. We will start within this range and review performance over time. If you consistently show ownership, reliability, and strong judgment, I’m happy to grow responsibility, hours, and pay over time as the business scales.

GROWTH PATH
This is not a short-term gig. My ideal outcome is to find someone who starts up to 5 hours/week and grows into a bigger role over time. As we grow, you can take ownership of more creative operations and become a key person in the business.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTION
When applying, please answer these questions:
1. What does “ownership” mean to you in a design role, and can you give one example of how you showed it in the past?
2. Share 2–3 examples of Amazon listing images or A+ content you created (portfolio links are fine).
3. Which AI tools have you used, and how do you use them in a real workflow?

Cheers,
Friso
