JOB OVERVIEW

Company: WRK Marketing
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST
Compensation: $1,000/month to start, increasing to $1,500/month after a successful 90-day review
Type: Full-time, remote
Growth Potential: High. This role is built to grow with the agency.

About WRK Marketing:
WRK Marketing is a fast-moving marketing agency serving a growing portfolio of clients across multiple industries. We run lean, move fast, and take care of our team. As we scale, we need a sharp, dependable backend operator who can own the systems behind the scenes and free up the rest of the team to focus on strategy and growth.

About the Role:
We're hiring a Backend Operations Specialist with deep, hands-on GoHighLevel (GHL) expertise. This is the anchor of the role. You should know GHL inside and out, from sub-account setup to snapshots, workflows, pipelines, calendars, and integrations. You also need to be a ClickUp expert, as ClickUp is the operating system we run our agency on. You'll be building, optimizing, and automating our workflows there every day.

Beyond GHL and ClickUp, you'll be our go-to person for all backend operations work: client onboarding, access provisioning, software integrations, ad platform setup, and the dozens of small technical tasks that keep an agency running smoothly. If you love building systems, fixing what's broken, and making things run cleanly behind the scenes, this is your role.

What You'll Be Doing
GoHighLevel (Primary Focus)
Build, configure, and maintain GHL sub-accounts for new and existing clients
Create and customize snapshots, workflows, pipelines, calendars, forms, surveys, and funnels
Set up automations, triggers, SMS/email sequences, and lead routing logic
Manage custom fields, custom values, tags, and segmentation
Troubleshoot workflow issues and optimize existing builds
Handle domain connections, email/SMS configuration (A2P 10DLC, sender authentication, etc.), and calendar integrations

ClickUp (Core Tool)
Build and maintain spaces, folders, lists, views, dashboards, and templates for the agency and our clients
Create and optimize ClickUp automations to streamline how work moves through the team
Set up custom fields, statuses, task types, dependencies, and recurring task structures
Integrate ClickUp with GHL, Slack, Google Workspace, time tracking, and any other tools in our stack
Build reporting dashboards so leadership has visibility into team workload and project status
Train tea ---------- mbers on ClickUp best practices and keep our workspace clean and organized

Client Onboarding & Access Provisioning:
Lead the technical side of new client onboarding from kickoff to launch
Collect, organize, and verify credentials for client accounts (ad platforms, CRMs, websites, analytics, etc.)
Set up and request access to Meta Business Manager, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Business Profile, and other ad/marketing platforms

Backend Integrations & Software:
Connect tools across the stack using native integrations, Zapier, Make (Integromat), webhooks, and APIs
Sync data between GHL and other systems (Shopify, WordPress, email tools, calendars, etc.)
Troubleshoot integration issues and keep automations running reliably

Nice-to-Have (Bonus, Not Required):
WordPress website updates (page edits, plugin management, basic theme work)
Shopify backend updates (product edits, app configuration, basic theme tweaks)

What We're Looking For:
Proven GoHighLevel mastery. You've worked extensively inside GHL and can confidently build anything we throw at you. Please be ready to speak to specific builds you've done.
ClickUp expertise. You've built out workspaces, automations, dashboards, and integrations in ClickUp and can speak to specific examples.
Strong experience with client onboarding workflows at a marketing agency or SaaS company
Hands-on experience setting up and provisioning access in Meta Business Manager and Google Ads / Google Analytics
Comfortable with Zapier, Make, webhooks, and APIs
Organized, detail-obsessed, and able to manage many small tasks without dropping any
Excellent written and spoken English. You'll be communicating with our team and occasionally with clients.
Self-directed: you can take a task and run with it without constant check-ins
Reliable internet and a workspace suited for full-time remote work during EST hours

Why This Role:
Real growth path. Your scope, responsibility, and pay will grow as you prove yourself
Work directly with agency leadership and a tight-knit team
Variety: no two days look the same, and you'll touch every part of the agency's backend
Stable, full-time hours with a clear 90-day raise built in!

How to Apply - To be considered, your application must include:

Your resume (PDF preferred)
A LOOM OR AUDIO RECORDING (3-5 Minutes) that includes:
Why we should hire you
Your specific experience with GoHighLevel and ClickUp (be detailed and name the kinds of builds, automations, and integrations you've done in each)
Any backend, onboarding, or integrations experience that makes you a strong fit

Applications without both a resume and a loom or voice note will NOT be reviewed.
We're hiring quickly, and strong applicants will hear back fast.
