JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Programmatic Ad Operations Specialist to support the execution of programmatic advertising campaigns. In this role, you will focus on technical implementation, troubleshooting ad performance issues, and maintaining strong client relationships. Your expertise will ensure precise ad tracking, seamless creative deployment, and adherence to compliance standards across digital platforms, specifically for our Demand-Side Platform (DSP). Note: This role does not involve social media advertising.

Key Responsibilities
1. Pixel and Tag Integration
Configure and manage website tracking via Google Tag Manager (GTM).
Implement JavaScript tracking pixels and manage tags, including VAST, Floodlight, Sizmek, Adform, and third-party verification tools (e.g., IAS, Moat).
Troubleshoot and debug tracking issues to ensure data accuracy.

2. Ad Creative Quality Assurance
Test ad creatives to ensure compliance with technical standards, load times, and rendering across devices.
Conduct quality checks to validate formats, functionality, and proper deployment.

3. Creative Deployment and Troubleshooting
Upload, configure, and troubleshoot ad creatives on platforms like WordPress or other CMS tools.
Identify and resolve issues with tags, rendering errors, or tracking discrepancies.
Work closely with developers and internal teams to optimize creative implementation.

4. Client Communication and Support
Act as a technical point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
Provide updates, troubleshoot campaign problems, and deliver tailored solutions.

5. Campaign Management and Analysis
Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, including CTR, CPM, CPC, and ROI.
Use tag and tracking data to identify areas for optimization and improve outcomes.
Align campaigns with client KPIs and provide actionable insights.

6. Compliance and Industry Best Practices
Ensure compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and programmatic ad-serving standards.
Apply rigorous quality control measures to guarantee ads are delivered flawlessly across platforms.

Required Skills and Experience
Ad Serving Platforms: Expertise in Google Ad Manager, DoubleClick Campaign Manager (DCM), and similar tools.

Tag Management: Proficiency with VAST, Floodlight, Sizmek, Adform, and verification tags (IAS, Moat).

Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for troubleshooting creatives.

Programmatic Advertising: Understanding of real-time bidding (RTB), DSP operations, and programmatic workflows.

Analytics: Ability to interpret data using tools like Google Analytics (GA4) to measure and optimize performance.

Additional Skills
Strong troubleshooting skills for tracking scripts, creative errors, and technical issues.
Experience with ad verification tools to ensure integrity and compliance.
Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams and clients.
Exceptional organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Experience managing campaigns on a Demand-Side Platform (DSP).
Familiarity with ad servers, ad exchanges, and advanced RTB strategies.
Knowledge of privacy standards like GDPR, CCPA, and their impact on ad tracking.
Basic understanding of web development principles.
