Position Overview:
As the Accounts Receivable Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of our accounts receivable department, ensuring timely collection of payments, maintaining accurate records, and leading a small team. You’ll collaborate closely with internal departments to resolve billing issues and improve cash flow, all while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Your responsibilities are but not limited to the following:
Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, collections, and cash application.
Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
Resolve client inquiries and disputes in a timely manner.
Work with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve cash flow.
Prepare monthly AR reports for management and ensure compliance with company policies.
Train and mentor accounts payable staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., CS Department, Sales) to ensure seamless operations and accurate reporting.
Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
A proactive, detail-oriented approach to work.
Has experience using QBO
