JOB OVERVIEW

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to oversee our company's accounts payable functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors, and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers. You will lead a team of accounts payable clerks, manage workflows, and ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the accounts payable team to ensure efficient and accurate processing of invoices, expense reports, and payments.
Review and approve all incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies.
Ensure all payments are processed timely and accurately, including handling vendor inquiries and resolving any payment issues.
Coordinate with vendors to negotiate payment terms and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare and review weekly, monthly, and quarterly accounts payable reports.
Monitor and manage cash flow by forecasting and controlling payment schedules.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies for accounts payable functions.
Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of accounts payable-related journal entries.
Maintain and update vendor information in the accounting system.
Train and mentor accounts payable staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., CS Department, Sales) to ensure seamless operations and accurate reporting.
Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed.


Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable or accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial reporting.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and motivate a team while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
