Job Description — Remote Accounts Administrator (Philippines)
Role Details
Reporting to: Accounts Manager / Directors
Location: Remote – Philippines
Hours: Monday–Friday (sometimes weekend also), UK business hours (GMT/BST)
CoFull-time, permanent
Role Overview
Farrington Homes Limited is a UK company operating a group of nine UK care homes. We are looking for a capable and reliable Remote Accounts Administrator to join our small accounts team, working alongside two existing administrators. This is a hands-on role covering day-to-day financial administration across a multi-entity group structure.
Key Responsibilities
Bank Reconciliation & Bookkeeping
Reconcile bank accounts across multiple entities regularly
Post transactions to the accounting system accurately and on time
Support month-end close and investigate discrepancies
Accounts Payable & Receivable
Process supplier invoices, credit notes, and payment runs
Raise sales invoices including care home fee billing
Chase outstanding debts and maintain aged debtor records
Procurement & Order Processing
Process purchase orders and obtain supplier quotations
Compare prices and maintain records for approval
Liaise with home managers on supply needs
General Administration
Maintain accurate digital financial records and filing
Prepare basic financial summaries and reports
Support during audits and ad-hoc financial reviews
Assist with payroll data gathering when required
What We're Looking For
Essential:
2–4 years in an accounts admin, bookkeeping, or finance support role
Proficiency in Sageline 50
Solid Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables)
Experience with bank reconciliation and AP/AR processes
Strong written English and communication skills
High accuracy and ability to work independently
Reliable internet and suitable home office setup
Desirable:
Prior remote work experience for a UK employer
Familiarity with multi-entity or group company structures
AAT or equivalent Filipino accounting qualification
