Job Summary:
Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, the Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in planning and overseeing the accounting operations of the portfolio companies. This position is based at our corporate office in Irving, TX.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate all accounting operational functions, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
Maintain internal controls and procedural standards for all accounting transactions across the Group.
Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
Assist in the creation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
Prepare Account Reconciliations and ensure accuracy on a monthly basis.
Thoroughly review accounting reports for precision and compliance.
Allocate expenditures to the appropriate accounts, following divisional procedures.
Prepare and file sales and use tax returns for the company.
Provide critical support during the annual external audit process.
Offer recommendations to management regarding short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.
Conduct financial analyses to aid operations in investment decisions, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
Evaluate current accounting operations, recommend improvements, and implement new processes as needed.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government regulations.
Perform any other related duties as necessary or as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration required.
7-10 years or more of relevant professional experience.

Preferred Skills/Abilities:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation.
Experience in the Distribution, Manufacturing, or Retail industry is highly desirable.
