Accounting Clerk – Remote Independent Contractor

Big Viking Games is a Canadian online game developer. We're a small, focused team and we run a tight finance operation. We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support our Senior Director of Accounting on day-to-day bookkeeping tasks.
What You'll Do

Allocate and code expenses in QuickBooks Online
Set up and process vendor payments
Manage accounts payable — entering bills, tracking due dates, flagging discrepancies
Assist with accounts receivable as needed
Maintain organized, accurate records in QBO
Handle data entry and basic transaction-level bookkeeping

What We're Looking For

Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (required)
Strong English communication skills — written and verbal
Comfortable working EST hours (or close to it)
Detail-oriented and dependable — you do what you say you'll do
Prior experience working with a foreign employer is a plus

Employment Type
This is an independent contractor role. You will be responsible for your own taxes, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG contributions. We do not withhold Philippine taxes on our end. Payment will be made in USD via direct international bank transfer.
